I recently had the pleasure of designing, producing, and installing a custom livery stripe kit for Vorsteiner’s newest creation. The Vorsteiner Lamborghini Aventador-V LP-740. They took the already stunning Aventador, and enhanced it with a beautifully designed and engineered carbon fiber aero kit. The package includes a front lip and splitters, side sills, and a two piece rear active wing. In addition to their aero package, Vorsteiner also offers a compelte OEM carbon fiber replacement kit comprised of the center front splitter piece, front lower intake surrounds, side air scoops, rear vent surrounds, and the rear diffuser. Don’t forget the weight saving 20×9 and 21×13 forged monoblock wheels.
The stripe kit design started as a collaboration of multiple ideas including graphics on both the top and sides of the car. As the design process went on, we started taking away one element at a time, simplifying the design as to not take away from the sexy lines that Vorsteiner and Lamborghini worked so hard to achieve. In the end, we were left with the raw elegance of a two color center stripe kit that wraps around the front Lamborghini emblem to form the “V” of the Vorsteiner logo. We went with a high performance cast, gloss black and anthracite metallic to accent the carbon fiber styling. The stripe kit is sold by Vorsteiner as an additional option to the aero package.
